Gospel Means – Good News
The Gospel is that Jesus Christ DIED on the cross for our sins, was BURIED, and bodily RESURRECTED three days later
“For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures” (1st Corinthians 15:3-4).
“ For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10
Our Sin Debt Paid For By Jesus Christ
While God because He is just and must punish sin, “For the wages of sin is death; ” (Romans 3:23a)
He is also a God of love and has provided a substitute payment for sin. Jesus, paid for our sins by his substitutionary death on the cross. With our sins paid for, we don’t have to pay for them in hell.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16)
“Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?”(John 11:25-26)
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6)
“No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.” (John 10:18)
Christ made a complete payment for all sin and offers His righteousness in return. “For He (God) hath made Him (Christ) to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him” (2 Corinthians 5:21). Christ never sinned. He lived a perfect life and did not deserve to die, yet He took our sins upon Himself and God’s wrath on sin was poured out on Jesus. His suffered the death that was due us. He did this so God could forgive is of our sins and give us God’s righteousness in place of our sin.
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:5-6)
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit” (I Peter 3:18).
Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed” (I Peter 2:24)
“All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.” Isaiah 53:6
We were dead spiritually because of our sins; but He died so we could be alive spiritually,
“And you hath he quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins” (Ephesians 2:1)
Forgiven Through The Blood Of Christ
“For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.” (Hebrews 8:12)
“As far as the east is from the west, so far hath he removed our transgressions from us.”(Psalm 103:12)
“the Lord says to His people, “I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.” (Isaiah 43:25)
“And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;” (Colossians 2:13)
How You Can Be Saved
Admit your sin and guilt. Turn from your sin and what your are currently trusting in for salvation, and turn to Jesus.
“There is a way that seems right to a man, But its end is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12)
“Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” (John 14:6)
Believe that Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God died on the cross for your sins and rose from the grave.

Call and ask Jesus Christ to forgive you of your sins and save your right now.
